Capability Statement
Copper State Supply is a value-added reseller of information
technology and commercial off-the-shelf supplies to federal, state, local, and education
purchasers in all fifty states and DC. Our primary line is technology — notebooks
and desktops, displays, docking, peripherals, cables and structured cabling, networking,
storage, UPS and power, print, and AV — alongside facility, safety, lab and office
categories on the same purchase order. We quote against emailed requirements the same
business day, accept government purchase cards, and ship direct from authorized U.S.
distribution to the receiving point.
Core competencies
- Same-day quoting. Requirements received during business hours are quoted
the same day, on letterhead, with firm pricing and per-line lead times.
- Sourcing against incomplete requirements. Part number, description,
photo, or prior-buy reference — identification is part of the service.
- Compliance verification before quote. Section 889 screening and
country-of-origin confirmation on every line, documented per order.
- Certification on request. Signed 889 representation, origin and TAA
status, authorized-channel confirmation, warranty terms, EPEAT / ENERGY STAR
registration, RoHS and REACH, UN 38.3 battery documentation.
- Purchase-card handling. Secure payment link, charged at shipment; no card
data by email; Level II/III data supported.
- Direct-to-dock fulfillment. Shipments carry our documentation, not the
distributor's — no third-party pricing in the box. Nationwide, tracking forwarded
the day it ships.
Differentiators
- Response time as the product. Single-operator structure means no queue and
no handoff between the requirement and the quote.
- Technical judgment on IT requirements. Principal's background is IT
consulting and IT audit; requirements are specified against the machine, not
against a catalogue lookup. Advisory background only — consulting services
are not sold.
- Commodity-agnostic sourcing. One vendor relationship covers mixed
requirements — IT, facility and office on one purchase order — that
would otherwise be split across several suppliers.
- Published operating limits. The categories we decline are stated publicly,
so a request we can't fill compliantly comes back the same day rather than being
quoted optimistically.
- Nationwide, without inventory. Product ships from the distributor's
nearest stocking branch. Geography is a routing question, not a capability
limit.
